I’m Louise
I offer a comprehensive and affordable range of foot health services to clients living within Colchester and the surrounding villages. Working on a domiciliary basis, I provide my services within the comfort and the convenience of my clients’ own homes.
If you require either one off or ongoing maintenance of your toenails, or need help and advice about managing callus, corns, fungal infection or verrucae etc, give me a call or drop me a message and we can have a chat.
Perhaps your nails are too thick to cut yourself, or cause you discomfort? Perhaps you are concerned that your heels are dry and cracked or painful to walk on? Maybe you live with diabetes mellitus and would like someone to assess and take care of your feet to avoid secondary problems developing. Don’t struggle on your own and don’t be too embarrassed to ask for help. Instead get in touch and I will do all I can to help.
I provide unhurried appointments and aim to understand and respond to what you think is important in terms of your foot health.
Every new client undergoes a full foot health assessment at no extra cost, before any treatment begins.
My background
I have worked in the health industry throughout my professional career as a Foot Health Practitioner, Registered Nurse (NHS), and nurse lecturer (University of Essex).
I trained as an FHP with the SMAE Institute/ Queen Margarets University, passing with Distinction, and have a level 4 Diploma in Foot Health. I am fully insured to practice and am a member of both the College of Foot Health Practitioners (MCFHP) and Association of Foot Health Practitioners (MAFHP).
I have also achieved a BSc in Health Studies and an MSc in Medical and Clinical Education.
